Session Overview
The next presenter in the NIAGARA Online Seminar Series is Benjamin Derksen, Information Specialist at the Royal Danish Library in Copenhagen. Benjamin’s work focuses on Open Science, FAIR data, and participatory approaches to library development. He is also a task leader in the Skills4EOSC project, where he designs learning pathways for data professionals. In his presentation, Benjamin will introduce the development of a Twine-based game for teaching digital literacy – an innovative approach that uses interactive storytelling to engage learners and build critical skills. The game is designed as a transferable tool for libraries and provides new ways to support students experiencing library anxiety or burnout, fostering more inclusive and empowering learning experiences.
